The guide presents the experiences of local civil society partners in the programme Shared Resources Joint Solutions, presenting ten cases from Africa, Asia and Latin-America.
Solving the climate crisis is urgent, but the availability of climate finance for local adaptation and mitigation solutions is scarce. In collaboration with the International Institute for Environment and Development (IIED), IUCN NL and WWF NL published a briefing paper setting out how to make sure that finance for climate adaptation and- mitigation ends up with local civil society organisations that are working on locally appropriate responses to these challenges. The insights in the briefing paper are based on the experience of five years Shared Resources Joint Solutions.
