Hanneloes Weeda | Grants & Funding Manager

Since 2018 Hanneloes is Grants & Funding Manager at IUCN NL. Hanneloes has over 24 years experience in development work for different organisations, including NGO’s, a private foundation and a consultancy firm. Her expertise includes not-for-profit fundraising, grants & subsidies from EU, governments, foundations and businesses, as well as private donor relationship management. 

Born in the Netherlands, Hanneloes grew up and studied in the United Kingdom. For the past 12 years Hanneloes has been active in the nature conservation sector. Prior to this, she was senior development officer for a private foundation in the European cultural sector. 

“Solutions for urgent environmental and/or societal problems strand if conditions such as the necessary funding and workable programme structures are not in place. It is extremely rewarding to accompany project managers from their initial idea, through development, to the kick-off of implementation“.
